How do I take a loan against my One America policy?

Here are the simple steps:

Option A (if your first loan from a One America policy)

To take a loan from your One America policy here are the simple steps:

  • If this is your first policy loan from this policy you need to authorize One America to deposit money electronically into a personal bank account. Access the form to authorize this deposit at the bottom of this article. Send this completed form to policyservice@oneamerica.com with a voided check to the account you wish to authorize. Save this form to reference for future loan requests.
  • Note: funds can only be deposited into a personal bank account
  • To request the loan click right here to access the form. This can be completed electronically. Fill in your information and be sure to type in the additional information section to “deposit via EFT.”
  • Standard processing time of these loans is 5 to 7 business days, but we have been seeing them completed sooner.

Direct Deposit EFT Authorization

 Option B (If taken loans from policy before)

To take a loan from your One America policy here are the simple steps:

  • To request the loan click right here to access the form.
  • This request can be completed electronically. Fill in your information including correct Proposed Insured and Policy Owner relationship.
  • Select the option for funds to be deposited via EFT. You have authorized a bank account for loan funds to be deposited into electronically. Use this form as reference for account numbers.
  • Review the form for accuracy, electronically sign, and be sure to see a completion screen to ensure submission. Processing time for loan requests is 3-5 business days
